| The US Family Health Plan (USFHP) is a military health plan sponsored by the Department of Defense (DoD) and offered through Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers, a TRICARE Prime designated provider. We've been providing comprehensive health care for military families and retirees for over 25 years. To commemorate that anniversary, the six USFHP providers across the country have adopted a new way of saying our name - US Family Health Plan and a new symbol: a heart within a star. You'll find out about the advantages of membership - personalized medical care, pharmacy benefits, no claim forms, very little paperwork, no deductibles for most members, no exclusions for pre-existing conditions and a limit to how much you would pay in the event of a catastrophic illness. There's also special information for people 65 and over, an enrollment application and a member handbook to download.
